Three Years Strong

Pasadena Yacht & Country Club · Gulfport, FL · March 14, 2026

Our Story

The Ringer was built on a simple belief: local professional golfers in the St. Pete area deserve a legitimate stage. Not a charity scramble — a real tournament, with real prize money, real competition, and a community that shows up.

Hosted at Pasadena Yacht & Country Club in Gulfport, FL, now in its 3rd year as the Pasadena Pros & Joes — The Ringer 2026, the event has grown every single edition — bigger field, more sponsors, and a community that keeps showing up.

The 2025 edition was claimed by John Clare and his Joe, Bret Sapp — capping a remarkable run that saw Clare fire a 28 on the final 9 holes to take the championship. The dinner honoring them is named for that number. The 2024 title belonged to Winton Munch, who posted a remarkable -8 to win.

Every year it gets a little bigger. That's The Ringer.

“28” Champions Dinner

Named for John Clare's legendary 9-hole score of 28 in the 2025 championship round. Served in honor of 2025 Champions Mr. John Clare & Mr. Bret Sapp. Significant others welcome. $40++ per person.

Signature Cocktail

Bad Ass Tequila Soda Lime

A bold double pour of tequila topped with crisp soda water and fresh-squeezed lime. Crafted in tribute to Mr. Clare’s electrifying double eagle on Hole 5—a 253-yard hole-out that rocketed him up the leaderboard.

Appetizer

Cool as a Cucumber Bang Bang Shrimp

Crispy shrimp tossed in a zesty bang-bang sauce, served over chilled cucumber ribbons. Celebrating Hole 14, the 28th hole of the 2025 tournament and first playoff hole, where Mr. Clare banged home a 20-foot birdie putt to extend the match on his way to the Championship.

Main

“28” NY-Style Chicken Riggies

Tender sautéed chicken folded into al dente rigatoni with a creamy, spicy tomato-pepper sauce, finished with sweet bell peppers, hot cherry peppers, and a touch of Parmesan—a comforting nod to Upstate New York, home of 2025 Champion John Clare and complete with 28 unique ingredients, a nod to Mr. Clare’s incredible 9-hole score of 28 in route to the 2025 Championship.
